The Once Upon a Time Challenge

Ok so I have this idea (and we all know that can never be good, lol ; P ).

    My little cousin’s 6^th birthday is coming up in April and she loves reading bedtime stories. I want to encourage her newfound love for reading and books by sending her a collection of imaginative fairytales as a gift, which, of course, got me thinking….

How many bedtime stories can I write in 2 months?

I’m between novels right now so this is just the challenge I need! And in case you’re wondering yes I am totally absolutely still working on getting published, but I need a side project.

(As if revising a novel,

                               nursing an article

   and a few new poems

weren’t enough to keep me busy…)

 (Hint: it’s not)

But I love being super-de-duper major ultra busy with many projects going on at once, and thought this would be a fun extra activity.

Let’s see where it takes us!

Sooooooooooo, I’m initiating this challenge to myself:

to write as many Bedtime stories as I can in the next two months.

I’m calling it:

                      The Once Upon a Time Challenge!

So chart my progress as I regularly post about this new endeavor under the label: Once Upon a Time Challenge, as we shoot for twenty short stories in 2 months. Who knows, maybe something really good will come out of this!
