Welcome to my blog! Let me tell you about myself:
I am a seventeen-year-old recent high school graduate.
OK, that's the "What" now for the "Who"!
I am an author , and these are my Thoughts and Dreams, the adventures I think up on rainy days then mold together into short stories, poems and even a novel or two (ok often a novel or two).
Being an author is the best job in the world!

LOL, there's so much freedom! So many exciting things to write about and discover; you're only limited by your imagination (and thankfully I have a pretty broad one of those).
Books are amazing, like gateways into the creators' minds. I guess you've already figured I might kinda sorta like books. Ok, I LOVE them, I love writing and reading all kinds of books but mostly Fantasy. I love writing (nontraditional) fantasy with twisted plots, twisted characters, and exciting adventures.
I write the kind of books that I
...as a teen...
wouldn't mind diving to the bottom of a bargain bin to get to!
So I'll be posting little snippets of stuff I've written:
(Short stories... poetry ... bits of my novels... random thoughts).
Nutmeg will kinda be like an imagination central,
a place of escape from any and all
Doldrums .
I'm also an Artist, so you'll probably be seeing a lot of sketches and doodles that I've cooked up on occasion; maybe illustrating a story, oftentimes just quirky things I want to share. Art can bring the words of a story into 3D, and breathe life into a character. If you're an illustrator then you know what I mean! Art is a very powerful tool, and a medium I love to experiment with.
I also like making mini-movies, so expect to see some neat little clipits of stuff I've shot as I escort you on a few of my recent summer quests (and, boy, did I have some quests this summer!)
Books are exciting, wonderful opportunities for adventure; there's inspiration everywhere, even in the very air we breathe. So why don't you buckle up and come with me on a ride you won't ever forget through that gateway into the, um, exotic world of my imagination .
